Designed in the 1950s by Brazilian architect and artist Flávio de Carvalho, the rare, sculptural FDC1 lounge chair is a masterpiece. The shape of this avant-garde lounge chair, which combines a thin steel frame with sparse leather straps, is reminiscent of a tribal mask or a wink to sadomasochism.
