1000° / Berlin, Germany

2017 – Interior Design – 220sqm

We were thrilled when asked to design our first restaurant – and that in our hometown in Berlin. Located on Kurfürstendamm, one of Berlins most iconic shopping streets the 1000° offers a mix of asian dishes developed specifically to be prepared on their Robata grill. The brief was to design a dinner focused restaurant where people would enjoy staying late and remain for drinks long after the plates are gone. Our architectural approach involved building a massive concrete bench that is designed almost like an exterior structure that allows diners to be seated on both sides. This measure also divides the rather large dining room into smaller sections, allowing for more intimate table placement. Một, hai, ba, dzô!!!
